Orion Counselling & Psychotherapy Collective is a group of like minded counsellors and psychotherapists working in British Columbia. The Collective aims to create a space to help counsellors grow and learn. This is accomplished through consultation, sharing of resources, and connection all in the name of improving as counsellors.

Why Orion?

Orion Counselling & Psychotherapy Collective is named for Orions Belt star system. It is a combination of the founding members individual practices. The name integrates each members practice to create one whole image. It connects to space (Space Club Counselling). Orion is a hunter and represents strength (Sila Counselling and Psychotherapy). The belt is composed of three stars (Three Points Counselling). It is the idea that separate individuals can come together for change.

Why a collective?

Orion is a collective to allow individuals with separate businesses and areas of work to come together to grow. It is an opportunity for counsellors to connect, share experiences, and help to improve the field of counselling one step at a time. This includes consultation and sharing of resources to better facilitate change for clients.

Counselling is a field in which connection is key. The collective is an opportunity for individual practitioners to have a community connection within the field of counselling. We often tell our clients to maintain social connections and we want to follow suite and practice what we preach.
